SOLINDARITY

ThermoDraft participates in the SOLINDARITY project, which has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe Framework Programme under grant agreement No 101136148. SOLINDARITY is an EU-funded project focused on decarbonising industrial processes through an integrated Solar Energy-based Heat Upgrade System (SEHUS). SEHUS combines solar energy (thermal and photovoltaic), high-temperature heat pumps, thermal energy storage, and waste heat recovery to significantly reduce carbon emissions in the industrial sector.

TEAPOTS

The Horizon Europe TEAPOTS project aims to develop an innovative solution to meet the energy needs of the agri-food sector through the valorization of agricultural waste and the reduction of pollutants and greenhouse gases. The project is based on a holistic and technologically advanced approach to sustainable agrifood practices, with an emphasis on energy efficiency, valorization of agricultural waste, and environmental protection. Thermodraft's role in TEAPOTS is to develop the control system for a 45 kWe ORC engine, which exploits waste heat from the flue gases of a pyrolysis reactor.

FLEXIndustries

FLEXIndustries is a European project aimed at supporting energy intensive industries worldwide by developing and testing the most suitable Energy Efficiency Measures and Process Flexibility Methods for their environments. FLEXIndustries – Digitally-enabled FLEXible Industries for reliable energy grids under high penetration of Variable Renewable Energy Sources (VRES) is funded by the European Union. ThermoDraft's role is to design and manufacture an ORC engine of 150 kWe for the biogas power plant of MilOil Hellas SA.
